Over 2 Million football fans have purchased the ticket for the PSG game which will pit Cristiano Ronaldo against Lionel Messi.

After Cristiano Ronaldo completed a controversial move to Saudi Arabia, football fans had to wait a little bit longer for him to make his Al-Nassr debut.

The highly-rated Manchester United icon was officially unveiled by Al-Nassr on January 3, 2022 after signing one of the biggest football contracts that will see him pocket £175 million every year.

After he was unveiled to a record number of a global audience, the Portuguese had to wait for the expiration of the two-match ban he picked from the English Premier League for assaulting a young Everton fan in 2021.

However, he will be making his first appearance an Saudi-backed exhibition game against PSG on January 19th when the Saudi Pro League all-stars take on the Ligue 1 giants.

The Saudi Pro League all-stars, consisting of players from Al-Nassr and Al-Hilal will take on PSG in a highly-anticipated exhibition game that will see the Portuguese star clash with his old and most formidable rival Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to be part of a combined team made up of players from Al-Nassr and the current Saudi champions, Al-Hilal.

ESPN confirms a crazy number of ticket requests have been made by fans who want to see Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi lock horns. Over two million people tried to secure a place at the 68,000-seater King Fahd Stadium in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, ahead of the January 19th clash.

The report also confirms the tickets for the game were sold out within minutes as the fans crazed to witness the renewed rivalry on January 19th.

The match is just an exhibition that will draw top stars from the two top clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Hence, Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr debut is now eminent.

The former Real Madrid star will make his debut for Al-Nassr just three days after the game against PSG in the Saudi Arabia Capital. By then, he must have served his two-match ban, which was enforced by FIFA although being handed down by the English FA.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also ready to settle in Saudi Arabia with his unmarried partner Georgina Rodriguez after the Saudi authorities reportedly turned a blind eye to the relationship despite colliding with extant statutes governing romantic relationships.

Also he was successfully registered after Al-Nassr axed Cameroonian forward Vincent Aboubakar to meet the foreign quota alloted to each clubs by the Saudi Pro League.

The signing of Cristiano Ronaldo made Al-Nassr surpassed the number of foreign players needed in Saudi clubs, and Aboubakar’s contract had to be terminated to pave way for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Al-Nassr plays Al-Ettifaq at Mrsool Park in the league on January 22nd, which is where we should get a first glimpse of Cristiano Ronaldo in his new team’s suave yellow and blue jersey.
