Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi took to social media to share a heartwarming throwback photo of himself and his wife as they celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary.
The 26-year-old striker married his partner Taiwo Jesudun in an engagement and traditional wedding in Kabba, Kwara state, Nigeria, on 15 June 2018, followed by a white wedding on 16 June in Ilorin.
The Nottingham Forest striker expressed his gratitude for his wife’s love and support in a touching message to his followers to mark their 6th wedding anniversary.
On Sunday, June 16, Taiwo posted a throwback photo and a recent picture of himself and his wife with the caption: “He’s able to do all to perfection, my God They know beforehand in all dimensions (but no be you get sense pass, you still fit miss ham, just a soul help by light ).”

Taiwo Awoniyi is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward. He began his youth career at Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria before moving to the United Kingdom to join the youth academy at Liverpool FC in 2015.
Awoniyi spent several seasons out on loan to gain first-team experience, playing for clubs such as FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Excel Mouscron, and Mainz 05.
He had varying degrees of success at these clubs, but ultimately struggled to establish himself as a regular starter.
In 2020, Awoniyi joined Union Berlin on loan and had a standout season, scoring 5 goals in 22 appearances. This success earned him a permanent transfer to the club in 2021.
