Chelsea winger Noni Madueke called Wolverhampton a s*** on his Instagram account ahead of the fierce encounter between the two teams.

After Madueke posted the word on Instagram, he proceeded to delete the post. The Chelsea star shared the location, which was Wolverhampton, in the post.

After he deleted the initial Instagram post, Madueke went ahead to post a message saying, “Damn wrong Instagram account. You lot are too fast.”

The English star traveled with the Chelsea squad to Wolverhampton. He is expected to be on the bench against the Wolves team.

Chelsea are focused on getting three points against Wolves after they lost 2-0 to Manchester City in the club’s first match of the 2024-25 Premier League season.

Madueke is still looking forward to starting a match under Enzo Maresca.

In the Premier League against Manchester City, he was an unused substitute and only came from the bench against Servette in the Europa League Conference Play-Off match.

He came from the bench to score a goal in the match to put Chelsea in the driving seat ahead of the second leg in Switzerland against Servette.

Madueke has been linked with a move away from Chelsea and may consider leaving before the end of the 2024 transfer window on August 30, 2024.

However, Maresca made clarity over the future of the English star, saying, “I really like Noni; the only problem with him is he has to understand he needs consistency during the week in every training session.”

“But he is a good player, and he has been doing well with us since we started. The problem is, the reality is that until the transfer window is not open, anything can happen. But for sure, Noni is the type of player that I like.”

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is trying everything possible to select the best team out of many. He recently revealed that 20 players are training away from the first team.
