Neymar took to Instagram to respond to the group of PSG fans that showed up in his house on Wednesday 3rd May 2023.
After the group of PSG fans turned up at Neymar’s house on Wednesday demanding for his departure from the club, the Brazilian responded on social media in bizarre way.
The Brazilian first posted a mysterious and confusing message on his Instagram account with the caption: “Don’t allow for people to put you in their storm, but put them in your peace”.
The former Barcelona star also went on to liking an Instagram reel where a Brazilian user, Ofuiclear, is particularly critical of Kylian Mbappé.
In the short Instagram video, Kylian Mbappe was tagged a “prince” who contract renewal led to the current PSG team being “the worst of the last few years”.
The user pointed out an attacking move against Bayern Munich in the Champions League where he believes Mbappe should have passed the ball to Neymar instead of attempting to score.
The move was not only criticized by this user, the whole of PSG fanbase and also the management notably criticized the wrong decision.
The user claims the protest against Neymar and Lionel Messi is useless as the fans should be protesting against the management who bestowed the leadership role on Kylian Mbappe.
The former Barcelona and Santos attacker, is out of the season as he is in recovery mode from an ankle ligament surgery.
Neymar has however registered 13 goals and 11 assists in his 20 league appearances this year despite several injuries.
The Brazilian’s contract with Ligue 1 giants PSG still runs until the end of the 2026/2027 campaign.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior also known as Neymar Júnior or Neymar, is a Brazilian footballer who was born on 5 February 1992.
The attacker plays as a forward for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the Brazil national team.
Neymar who is a prolific goalscorer and renowned playmaker, is widely seen as one of the best players in the world as well as one of the greatest Brazilian footballers of all time.
Neymar is one of four players to have scored at least 100 goals for three different clubs.
He signed for PSG in 2017 in a move worth €222 million, making him the most expensive player ever.
At international level, Neymar has scored 77 goals in 124 matches for Brazil since debuting at age 18 and he is the joint-top goalscorer for his national team alongside Pelé.
PSG Condemns Abuse By Fans
Despite punishing Messi for an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia, PSG released a statement condenming the abuse on Neymar alongside teammate Lionel Messi.
The Statement released by PSG read: “PSG condemns in the strongest terms the intolerable acts and insults of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday. Whatever the differences, nothing can justify these acts. The club expresses its support for the players, the management and all those concerned by this disgraceful behavior.”
Will these attack bring an end to the Neymar, Messi and Mbappe trio? Will Lionel Messi and Neymar still remain at PSG next season?
