Kieran Trippier’s wife, Charlotte has sparked divorce rumors from her husband and Newcastle United player, Kieran Trippier.
Charlotte raised eyebrows when she dropped a cryptic message on social media, touching the depths of her matrimonial relationship with Trippier.
The post came two days before England clashed with Spain in Euro 2024 final at the Olympiastadion, Berlin in Germany. She wrote on her Instagram Story;
“Sooner or later you get over the s*** you swore you’d never get over and it’s the best feeling in the world.”
Known for her more private and restrained presence on the micro-blogging platform, she quickly deleted the post after posting it but eagle-eyed followers had already spotted it.
The humble wag did not make mention of her marriage in the post, it was evident it was a reference to her difficult relationship with Kieran Trippier, who was then with England’s Euro 2024 squad in Germany.
After the deleted cryptic message, Charlotte went a step further to register her grudges on the matrimonial relationship by ‘unfollowing’ Kieran Trippier on Instagram.
While there are sketchy details of when things went sore between Charlotte and Tripper, some reports claimed the marriage hit the rocks when Trippier allegedly went steamy with a mystery lady on one of his outings, causing Charlotte to shift gears in the marriage.
However, the pair were able to resolve their differences months after and were seen together at the end of the last Premier League season.
Now, close sources claim the relationship is strained much deeper than ever again due to a yet-to-be-disclosed misunderstanding.
Before England’s campaign Euro 2024, some reports claim Kieran Trippier had attempted to sort out matters with Charlotte, all to no avail.
It is believed the lingering beef between the pair made Charlotte not fly to Germany and cheer the footballer husband as other wags did. Note that England refused to allow players to travel with their wags to the tournament.
There was no separate hotel for the blondes as the team did during the 2022 World Cup. However, some wags make out time to travel to Germany and join English fans in the stadium to cheer their lovers on the pitch before traveling back. Charlotte was not one of them.
Meanwhile, despite Charlotte’s recent post, metaphorically referencing her troubled nuptial union with Trippier, she is still living in their family home in Newcastle. Sources close to the family reveal the 29-year-old is continuing with her motherly role for their three kids.
She regularly drops the children at school and picks them up to the family home, where Kieran Trippier is also staying. However, the cryptic posts, refusal to travel for Euro 2024 tournament, and unfollowing Trippier on social media, has raised more questions about the union.
Trippier is reportedly aware of the simmering tensions in the marriage with Charlotte but is intentionally deciding to keep things under wraps.
Some reports claim his England teammates were aware of the building beef as well, but hoped to have the player focus on the just-concluded Euro tournament.
Further reports claim the timing of Charlotte’s cryptic post didn’t sit well with some of the players, who saw it as a distraction ahead of the crunch final tie against Spain.
Kieran Trippier and Charlotte Relationship
Kieran Trippier and Charlotte are said to be childhood sweethearts. They began their relationship long ago and have been together with no squabbles. After a fruitful love journey that cemented the bond between the pair, Trippier proposed to Charlotte in 2015. Then, he was plying his trade with Burnley in the English top flight before joining Tottenham Hotspur the same year.
In June of the following year, he took the English blonde to the aisles, tying the knot as husband and wife. Unlike other WAGs, Charlotte is known for her modest presence on social media, despite her modeling career.
While not much is known about her background, her relationship with Kieran Trippier thrusts her into the limelight.

Kieran Trippier’s Career
Kieran Trippier began his career as a Manchester City player from 2009 to 2012 after graduating from the club’s Academy. However, he did not make a single appearance for the club and was loaned out to Barnsley and Burnley, throughout his three-year spell with the club.
After his impressive loan spell with Burnley, he was signed permanently. From Burnley, Trippier joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2015, made 68 league appearances for the Lilywhites, and was signed by Atletico Madrid in 2019. After three years with the La Liga outfit, he returned to the Premier League in 2022, joining Newcastle United.
Trippier made his England senior team debut in 2017 and has won 54 caps with the team, scoring one goal.

The English right-back has a running £100,000 per week three-year contract with Newcastle United. He has one year left on the deal. His estimated annual salary with the club is £5,200,000.
