Mohamed Salah spared the hints but vented his spleen after he clashed with his manager Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against West Ham United in the Premier League

The Egyptian striker lost his cool with Jurgen Klopp after the latter confronted him when he was about to be subbed on in the West Ham match.

The faceoff sparked a verbal row with Darwin Nunez’s timely intervention helping tame the flaring nerves.

After the game, Mohamed Salah was asked by a reporter what led to the fallout. He replied, ‘It’s gonna be fire if I speak,’ as he angrily stormed through the press conference hall’s exit with his teammates.

Salah’s telling response seems to have unearthed a deep-seated row between the Egyptian forward and Klopp amidst Liverpool’s recent deadlock.

The Reds have won only one of their last five Premier League matches, and had stumbled to shock defeats at home against Atalanta in the Europa League quarterfinal first leg and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

They were knocked out of the European second-tier after failing to overturn the 3-0 home defeat in Bergamo. The Europa League deadlock was followed by a series of dismal results in the Premier League that grounded their race for the Premier League title.

Mohamed Salah lost his starting role for the Reds in the wake of the club’s dwindling fortunes. He has been dropped to the bench two times in Liverpool’s last three matches.

When he was brought on late against West Ham, his apparent delay of the substitution, as per Jamie Carragher, led to Jurgen Klopp’s furious reaction, and then the fallout.

Salah has been key to Jurgen Klopp’s squad but has seen his fortunes nosedive as he struggles for form since returning from injury.

This has apparently strained his relationship with Jurgen Klopp, who is set to leave at the end of the season. However, there are projections the Egyptian ace could be considering drawing the curtain on his Liverpool career should he continue to struggle for a starting role even after Klopp’s exit.
