Liverpool forward Mo Salah fell out with manager Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against West Ham in the Premier League.

Salah, who was benched in the game, was about to be subbed on when Jurgen Klopp walked up to the player and engaged him in a verbal row.

While it is yet unclear what Klopp said to the Egyptian forward, Salah could be seen losing his cool with the 56-year-old and talking back at him furiously as well.

It appeared the situation would spiral out of control before Salah’s teammate Darwin Nunez stepped in and held back the 32-year-old, who was making a menacing advance on Klopp.

Meanwhile, Klopp was trying to disengage and step back as Salah advanced forward. A few minutes after Darwin Nunez’s intervention, calm was finally restored with Jurgen Klopp stepping away while Salah made his way into the field as substitute.

It was never a good scene to behold in another disappointing afternoon for the Reds at the London Stadium.

Salah was subbed on in the game when West Ham netted their equaliser to peg the Merseyside club to a 2-2 draw.

The draw saw the Reds suffer a potential final blow to their Premier League title hopes with the team’s hope of adding another silverware to the EFL Cup now shattered.

Sadly, it appears the Reds are not only dealing with dragging on-field misfortunes but a seething unease in the dressing room as well.

The fallout between Salah and Klopp was an affirmation that all is not going well behind the scenes at Anfield in the wake of their dwindling fortunes.

Mo Salah’s outburst can be linked to his frustration with Klopp’s recent moves to bench him in two of the club’s last three games.

Liverpool legend and pundit Jamie Carragher believes Mo Salah deserves more minutes after his return from injury to find his bearing again. Meanwhile, it is understood Jurgen Klopp’s decision to bench the player is linked to his dip in form which has also taken a toll on the club’s fortunes.
