Ousmane Masour Dembélé is a French footballer playing professionally for Barcelona Fc after he signed a world-class contract with the Spanish team in 2017. The 22-year-old attacker was signed by Barcelona after Neymar left the team in 2017, he was brought into the team as a potential replacement for the Brazilian player.

Ousmane Dembélé is hailed for his fast pace football style and ability to cut in among defenders and play shot from a wide range. Often times, football analysts opined that Ousmane Dembélé and the likes of Kylian Mbappe are two great players that will hoist the flag of France high up in the sky in foreseeable future. Playing in a team with world-class players like Lionel Messi, Luiz Suarez, can be quite tasking, hence, the youngster needs to step up his game on all sides.

Not many people know that Dembélé is also one of the top earners in Barcelona. Before Antoine Griezmann came into the club, Dembélé was the third-highest earner in Barcelona after Lionel Messi and Luiz Suarez. However, with the presence of his fellow Frenchman Antoine Griezmann in Barcelona, Dembélé has dropped to fourth among the earners in Barcelona. The French youngster takes home about £250,000 weekly and this means his take-home salary is about £1,000,000 every month.

Ousmane Dembélé may have not lived up to expectations since he came into Barcelona, he has appeared in over 51 games and scored about 12 times for the club. Little wonder, Barcelona were forced to bring in Antoine Griezmann because it was glaring that Ousmane Dembélé could not fill the vacuum left behind by Neymar Jr.

When the Brazilian star was about to exit the Spanish giant due to personal issues, there were speculations that the club may never find a suitable replacement for him. However, the fear of losing Neymar Jr to PSG is not something to worry about, a big reason that is highly worrisome is if the Spanish club should stop the Brazilian star from going and lose a whopping sum of £200 million that PSG is willing to offer for his release. There was no need to fear since Messi is still in the club, that is the only player that Barcelona will do everything to ensure that he remains in the club.

Reasonably, out of the £200 million the club made from the sale of Neymar to PSG, they splashed £94.5million to buy Ousmane Dembélé in 2017.
