Manchester United have returned to winning ways after they secured all three points against struggling Burnley at Turf Moor.
Erik ten Hag’s went to the game to end a three-defeat run in a row in Saturday’s Premier League clash with Vincent Kompany’s men.
The Red Devils suffered a 4-3 defeat to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday, 19th of September as Erik ten Hag’s defensive issues continued in the club.
Before their Champions League campaign, the Old Trafford outfit initially suffered back-to-back setbacks to Arsenal and Brighton.
Burnley also went to the game with Vincent Kompany looking forward to stacking on the woe at Turf Moor after they picked up their first Premier League point in a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest on Monday, 17th of September.
Manchester United made surprising changes to the team with 35-year-old Jonny Evans being named in the starting XI.
However, Evans was not the only change Ten Hag made, Hannibal Mejbri and Scott McTominay were also selected by the Dutch manager.
Sofyan Amrabat was seen on the bench while some notable stars missed out due to injuries.
Burnley made just one change with Aaron Ramsey who was included in the starting lineup in place of Lyle Foster who got sent off against Nottingham Forest.

The match took off at 8:00 pm and the host made an early error which nearly led to goal.
Man United played pretty well in the first 5 minutes with Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes linking up and cracking a shot at Burnley’s goalkeeper.
The visitors saw a goal ruled out by VAR, it was an excellent movement from Jonny Evans who headed home a mighty ball into the net.
Burnley’s Ramsey made an effort in the 40th minute and Onana was there to make a brilliant save.
The Red Devils finally broke the deadlock in 45 minutes of play, Evans found the Portuguese midfielder with a good pass and slotted it home with a beautiful volley as the referee blew the final whistle for the first quarter of the game.
The second half got underway in 45 minutes and Burnley took control of the game but there were no chances in front of goal.
Manchester United were poor in the second half playing wrong passes and making numerous errors.
Rashford saw his shot blocked in the 84th minute after he was found in front of three Burnley defenders.
Amrabat made his Premier League debut in the 88th minute before 4 minutes was added by the officials.
The visitors, however, managed to secure all three points and Onana kept a clean sheet.
