Manchester City moved closer to Arsenal on the Premier League table after defeating Nottingham Forest 2-0.

Guardiola’s side are one point adrift of Arsenal, who have played more games than the reigning Champions.

Nottingham Forest started well and almost had a goal, but their attempt got pushed away by City’s goalkeeper Ederson.

City went ahead in the first half after a Josko Gvardiol header. The Croatian received the beautiful corner from Kevin De Bruyne and wasted no time heading the ball into the Nottingham Forest goalpost.

Erling Haaland scored the second goal for his side in the second half of the game, with Kevin De Bruyne providing the second assist of the game.

The Manchester City fans were signing; they are Champions again. Football Fans all over the world know very well that Manchester City won’t drop a single point till the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest had a chance to equalize in the match against Manchester City in the 38th minute of the game, but they weren’t clinical enough.

Nottingham Forest attacker Murillo wasted another big chance against Manchester City in the 47th minute of the game. 

Manchester City created a chance for Julian Alvarez in the 63rd minute of the game; however, the Argentine couldn’t force Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Sels into a save.

Erling Haaland scored in the 71st minute of the game to extend the Manchester City lead against Nottingham Forest. The assist was provided by the in-form Kevin De Bruyne.

The Sky Blue dominated to the end of the game, with the Nottingham Forest players losing interest in fighting till the end.
