Juventus and Manchester City have completed the swap deal involving Felix Correia and Pablo Moreno. Correia moves from the Turin giant to the Etihad based while Moreno heads the other way.

Moreno has signed a four-year deal with Manchester City, while Correia put pen to paper on a  five-year contract with the perennial Italian champions. Both players will complete their moves at the start of the transfer window.

Moreno was named in Goal’s NxGn list of the top 50 wonder kids in world football. He has been a part of Juventus’ U-23 team for each of the past two seasons after moving to the Turin club from Barcelona after breaking several goalscoring records while at La Masia. He joined Juventus in 2018 for a reported fee of €700,000 (£595,000/$770,000) and has proven himself to be an option in several positions in the attacking midfield. He had scored over 200 goals at La Masia Academy.

Moreno was rewarded on the bench of Juventus senior team or a Serie A match against Genoa last season, after scoring four goals in three UEFA Youth League games but couldn’t break through under current boss Maurizio Sarri.

The Spanish under-18 international, who was a member of the U-17 European Championships and World Cup, has been getting rave reviews, and he is one for the future.

    Who is Felix Correia?

Correia, on the other hand, is a Portugues under 19 international, who joined in 2019 from Sporting CP. He had been on loan this season with AZ Alkmaar, and made 23 appearances for the Dutch club’s U21 side, scoring three goals and created five assists this season.

Like Correia this season, Moreno could go out on loan next season as Manchester City will look to get the forward first-team experience.

Manchester City, which lost the Premier League trophy to Liverpool, is currently second. Ther Citizens re hoping to cement a Champions League spot as they plan to host the Merseyside club at the Etihad Stadium. City remains unsure of Champions League football next season due to a UEFA ban on the alleged breach of FFP rule.

Juventus, on the other hand, will be playing against Genoa tonight with the hope of securing maximum points to maintain its four points lead over second-place Lazio.
