Liverpool boss Klopp to face fellow strong coach Diego Simeone
Liverpool boss, Klopp wants another tour to Spain capital, he finally gets it but earlier than he thought.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reveals that he wants another Madrid adventure but not sure which of the clubs.

Following the previous final of the Champions League between the Reds and Tottenham in Madrid. The game left a lingering memory on the German as he wishes to revisit the Spain capital once again.

He points up that he has been expecting whether Real Madrid or Athletico Madrid even before the draw. And it happens to be Athletico clashing with the holders in the round 16.

Though he admits that it is a tough draw playing against Diego Simeone who is another strong manager like himself. But also believes that Simeone will not be fully happy to face the defending champions so early.

Liverpool led their group ahead of Napoli on the run for a second consecutive European crown. Taking them back to the Wanda Metropolitano, the scene of last season’s final. But to face the Mattress Maker, another harmful LaLiga giants.

Klopp told his club’s official website: “It’s an interesting draw, Before the draw, I actually thought it would be Madrid – either one of the two clubs – and that’s the way it is.

“Madrid is the place where we only have fantastic memories, all of us, so that’s great, but this time we play Atletico there and it’s their home ground.

“It’s a tough one, but if you go through all of the draws, there are pretty much four or five potential finals already in the last 16.

“So, really, really good; a good draw, a difficult game like it should be, but I don’t think Mr. Simeone is running through his living room and is happy that he got Liverpool.

“It will be a tough game. Two teams who are used to playing intense football.

Different styles and slightly different organisation, of course, but both are ready for the intensity and that makes it pretty tough for both.”

The Reds are currently at the top of the Premier League table with 10 points clear of the second-place Leicester City. While the Spanish side is the fifth with six points below the leaders, Barcelona who takes on Napoli next.

This UCL draw is tougher as revenge, enthusiasm, record-breaking, recap, etc will exist among the five top Europe leagues.
