Mohamed Salah stoked reactions after he fell out with his manager Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Premier League at the weekend.

The Egyptian forward, who was benched in the game, was about to be subbed on in the 79th minute for Luis Diaz before he clashed with Klopp.

In footage that has generated much fuss in the media, Salah could be seen in a verbal row with Jurgen Klopp and was visibly angry with the German tactician.

While it was evident the duo are not on good terms and are struggling with a strained relationship in the wake of Liverpool’s recent crisis, what Salah actually said to the 56-year-old was yet to be determined.

There were suggestions he had used a swear word on the German while others said he was reprimanding the veteran football coach.

Now, a professional lip reader John Cassidy has revealed what the former Chelsea forward actually said to Jurgen Klopp.

In an interview with SPORTbible, Cassidy revealed Salah did not use a swear word or reprimanded Klopp but was just voicing his concern before going in for the match.

“Salah said, ‘There’s nothing I can do about that, nothing.’

“Klopp’s reply was obscured, indicating Salah wasn’t ready as quickly as Klopp liked it to be. Klopp walked over and irritated Salah by saying something to him.

“Salah then said, ‘I will, I will get a red card, after seven years, after seven years’ service, after seven years!’ He then got ushered away by Nunez,” Cassidy said.

Speculations on Mo Salah’s future at Liverpool were rife after the incident but Futballnews understands Liverpool are hopeful of having the prolific forward continue his career with the club next season.

Salah has 14 months left on his Liverpool contract Nas has been linked to a move to Saudi Arabia after his spell with Liverpool.
