The chief executive of Inter Milan, Giuseppe Marotta, says the Italian Serie A club intends to extend the loan deal of embattled Alexis Sanchez but the move is proving to be difficult. The 31-year-old Chile forward wants to return to his parent club, Manchester United, but the manager of United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had said Sanchez is beautiful furniture that might not be needed in the current setting of United.

There are reports that Manchester City is planning a swap deal to bring in 18-year-old Juventus winger Pablo Moreno. The deal will see 19-year-old Manchester City and Portuguese winger Felix Correia move to Italy while Moreno joins City.

Mauricio Pochettino may soon get a coaching job for the first time since November 2019 when he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur.
