Karim Adeyemi was born to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother in Munich, Germany.

Karim-David Adeyemi was born on January 18, 2002 and plays as a forward for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the German national team.

The fastest player used to be Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich, who was nicknamed “Roadrunner” due to his speed. But now, the title would informally go to the Nigerian-born German star.

With an amazing speed, the Nigerian Fufu lover, set a new record at 36.65 km/h where he made use of his massive pace to grab a goal in Dortmund’s victory.

Moussa Diaby – 36.52 km/h

Second on our list is Moussa Diaby. As of matchday 15, he held the record for the fastest player in the 2022–23 season after being stopped at 22.69 mph (36.52 km/h) late in the second half of Bayer Leverkusen’s draw with Wolfsburg on Matchday 11.

Diaby initially crossed the lightning threshold of 36 km/h at the concluding part of the 2019–20 Bundesliga season.

Alphonso Davies – 36.2 km/h

Alphonso Davies enjoyed a massive 2019/20 season and it will be one that nobody at Bayern ever forgets.

It was more like a breakthrough season at the club following his January 2019 arrival from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.

He almost broke through the sound barrier on Matchday 32 against Werder Bremen in the game where the Bavarians secured the Bundesliga title – the first of six trophies in 2020 – when he was recorded at a blistering 22.69 mph.

Nathan Ngoumou Minpole who was born on 14th March 2000 is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Borussia Mönchengladbach.

His maximum speed is currently 36.17 km/h, securing the player with the shirt number 19 fourth place in the league list of fastest players in the current 2022/23 season.

Jereme Frimpong – 36 km/h

Jeremie Agyekum Frimpong is a Dutch professional footballer who was born 10th December 2000. He currently plays as a right-back for Bayer Leverkusen and the Netherlands national team.

He is one of the strongest runners in the Bundesliga this season – though last on our list on Futballnews. His maximum speed at the moment this season is a massive 36 km/h.

After Karim Adeyemi, Moussa Diaby, Alphonso Davies, and Nathan Ngoumou, Frimpong is the fastest player in the Bundesliga.
