At a time when all social gathering has been reduced to none and ban has been placed on movement, social functions have been abruptly ended at least for now. The best social function any man can do now is between himself and his immediate family. Such is the type of 30th birthday celebration of Juventus goal stopper Wojciech Szczesny held on 18th of April 2020.

The Polish goalkeeper born on April 18, 1990, was pictured with his beautiful wife Marina Luczenko and their little son Liam Szczęsny as he marked his 30 year birthday in style amidst the coronavirus pandemic. There is no doubt that if it were to be in the good old days when the world was free from this pandemic, the Juventus shot-stopper would have painted the city of Turin red with his fellow teammates in the giant Italian club Juventus.

However, that could not be done this year as the entire world is being ravaged by the novel Covid-19. Bad enough, no vaccine has been approved for it yet, the best that was prescribed was a lockdown and social distancing order to stop its spread. Despite the lockdown and social distancing order, the virus has continued to flourish in abundance especially in many European countries.

Wojciech Szczęsny who recently turned 30 years was left no other choice than to celebrate his big day with his consanguine family. The 30-year-old Polish uploaded his birthday picture which featured his wife and his little son. He expressed his happiness for being able to celebrate his day with his family.

The Juventus goal stopper started his professional career at the youth wing of his boyhood club Agrykola Warsaw. From there he moved to the reserve team of one of the top clubs in the Polish league, Legia Warsaw. In 2009, he made a transfer to England where he played for the youth division of Arsenal.

Subsequently, still in 2009, Szczęsny was recruited into the first team of Arsenal where he served till 2017 before he completed a permanent deal to Juventus. His stay in Arsenal was disrupted by several loan spells to Brentford  (2009 to 2010) and Roma (2015 – 2017).
