The German Bundesliga champions have recently lost their striker Robert Lewandowski to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona this summer and they are searching for a good replacement for their hitman.

According to multiple sources, Bayern Munich are ready to secure the services of Harry Kane as they see him as the perfect man to step into the void left by the talismanic Poland international.

Speaking during an interview with some journalists in the United States of America, Julian Nagelsmann refused to shut the door against a move for Harry Kane next year.

“He’s very expensive that’s the problem – but brilliant player, one of two or three who can play as a center-forward [as well as a] number 10, but he’s very strong, brilliant with [his] head and both feet,” the coach said. “He could score a lot in the Bundesliga, I don’t know the price, but it’s really tough for Bayern Munich. We’ll see what happens in the future.”

Since Lewandowski’s shocking exit from the German champions, there have been rumors that Kane would join the Bavarian club. Lewandowski, who had just one year left on his contract with the German top club, made it known earlier this summer that he intended to leave the team because of a love that had “died” inside of him. The news came as a surprise to Bayern Munich executives because they were not ready to release him.

This made the transfer talks linger for months but Barcelona continued pushing to secure his services. Bayern Munich rejected up to three offers from Barcelona but eventually accepted a £50 million deal from them. Also, Harry Kane made it clear that he wanted to leave Tottenham last season, and Manchester City made many offers to sign him but it was rejected.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich has reached out to Harry Kane’s agent in an attempt to sign him next summer and it’s believed that they got a positive response from the meeting. The England international has two years left but won’t entertain a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer which is why Bayern Munich is waiting for the right time to bid.

Harry Kane who’s yet to win a collective trophy in his career with Tottenham Hotspur will be tempted by the guarantee of winning the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. After winning the league for ten consecutive years, Bayern Munich is one of the clubs to deliver a domestic title to any player.
