Joey Barton and Georgia McNeil are childhood lovers. They have been lovers long before he became a football star. Even when the former footballer was having issues on and off the pitch, the British lady was always there for him.

The two lovers welcomed their first child on December 28, 2021. The child, a boy, was named Cassius. They welcomed their second child, a daughter, on June 6, 2014. They named her Pieta.

Though Joey Barton and Georgia have been lovers from childhood, the 38-year-old ex-footballer and the 35-year-old mother of two got married in 2019. The wedding was said to be a lavish ceremony.

To show how deep their love has been, Georgia did not hesitate to celebrate Joey Barton during Father’s Day in the same month she allegedly received head injuries from Barton.

In her message to the embattled ex-footballer, Georgia wrote: “Happy Father’s Day, the kids absolutely adore you. Thank you for everything you do to them.”

In her reaction to the ongoing scandal against her husband, Georgia took to Instagram today, July 25, to say he never accused the ex-footballer of being violent towards her.

She wrote: “Whilst I wouldn’t normally comment on private matters before the rumour mill goes into overdrive I’d like to make it clear there is absolutely no accusation by myself or anyone else that joe has been violent or physical towards me. We consider this a private matter and will be making no further comment.”
