YouTuber Jake Paul looks forward to having Cristiano Ronaldo ringside for his forthcoming boxing bout with Tommy Fury.
Jake Paul will go into the ring with a former love island star Fury this weekend in Saudi Arabia as both individuals get set to finally put an end to their intense rivalry.
It would be the most recent high profile sporting showdown set to happen in the middle east following Anthony Joshua’s bout with Oleksandr Usyk in Riyad, Saudi Arabia in 2022.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar also had its glitz and glamor and many would consider it as arguably the best, best organized and aesthetically pleasing FIFA World Cup in recent time.
This clash between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury is expected to garner huge attention across the world given how popular both individuals are on social media.
Former Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, penned a staggering deal with Saudi Arabian side, Al Nassr in December.
And Jake Paul expects the Portuguese legend and football great to be in attendance when he faces Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia on Sunday night.
Paul when questioned in an interview about Ronaldo attending the bout, he said:
“Yeah, I think he’s coming to the fight.”
The attendance of Ronaldo to the fight would obviously generate more attention for an already eagerly anticipated clash.
Tyson Fury also expected to be available for the fight
Tommy Fury’s brother Tyson Fury is also expected to be at the battle between his brother and Jake Paul. All things being equal, The Gypsy King would be available to offer support to his brother.
Tyson Fury who has not fought in Asia has intensified the heat on his brother by insinuating that he could become Cristiano Ronaldo’s personal trainer if he gets to lose against Jake Paul.
The Gypsy King said: “I have told Tommy that if he loses he has to stay over in Saudi and become Ronaldo’s personal trainer. He agreed. He will have to spend his losers purse on a nice little flat out in Saudi and look after Ronnie.”
Jake Paul is likely to go into this battle with little pressure on his shoulders due to his status as an influencer, but a defeat to Tommy Fury could negatively affect his boxing career.
However, Tommy Fury is from a traditional boxing background but he would be in search of a victory to avoid humiliation and a big slap in his push to become a world champion.
Fury has been groomed by his dad, John Fury who will also be right there in Riyad alongside his brother, Tyson Fury.
The 23-year-old has been preparing painstakingly for this fight and his father believes that the rising star will be treating the encounter as a holiday, in spite of insinuations that it is the hardest test of his abilities in the boxing ring.
John Fury speaking in view of the battle between his son and Jake Paul said: “At the end of the day this is just what it is, It’s an holiday and a decent payday but it’s an easy fight for Tommy. We’re looking at big honours for Tommy, we’re looking at
“Tommy winning world titles in future. Tyson Fury’s the king of the ring, Tommy will come through. You can’t say what’s going to happen in the future with Tommy but you can say that he’s going to give them all a run for their money. All those ones who think Tommy can’t fight, you’re going to be in for a shock.”
