The England youngster was left out of Gareth Southgate’s squad list for this month’s Nations League games, with his absence raising questions over whether or not he will be called back to feature at the Qatar World Cup that will commence in November this year.

Meanwhile, It appears as though the 22-year-old Sancho may have been abandoned as he feels frustrated by his omission from the England players’ list despite creating a strong start to the Premier League with Manchester United this season.

Sancho has scored twice in six league appearances since the beginning of the Premier League campaign.

Whereas, the 22-year-old revealed his feelings on social media a few minutes before kick-off between his team and Germany as he posted a photo of the FIFA 23 main menu to his Instagram story.

His post, perhaps, gave the opinion that Sancho had preferred to play the game instead of watching the Three Lions in their final Nations League match.

Meanwhile, Sancho was not the only United player to miss out on a place in this month’s England squad, with Marcus Rashford also failing to cut a return to form due to his minor injury.
