Borussia Dortmund and England international Jadon Sancho took a break from transfer talk at a getaway spot in Ibiza, Spain, alongside a mystery woman.
Jadon Sancho,20, took a well-deserved break from football and transfer talks with some of his friends on the popular getaway spot, as he was seen enjoying a great time on a yacht. It’s also speculated that he paid for the chartered private jet, which took everybody to the location.
He was also seen trying his hands on so many things while on the island, snorkeling, jetski, and food at some of the most expensive restaurants on the island. Pictures of him being push into the water by a mystery woman have been making the rounds on the internet with some suggesting her to be his girlfriend, but it seems the English player was just happy to take a break away from all the rumors surrounding his future which has constantly seen him linked to Manchester United.
However, Dortmund is taking a strong stand in respect of the terms of transfer as they have given the Manchester club an ultimatum of August 10 to meet the required £120 million if they wish to price him away from the Signal Idunal Park. Sancho himself has clearly refused to be drawn into making any verbal commitment about his future while speaking to reporters.
Sancho told World Soccer Magazine “I don’t know what to say to that, It’s hard to say. That’s the future. You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see.”
Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all interested in the talented player, but Man United have shown the most concrete in him, as Chelsea and Liverpool look to other cheaper alternatives.
Dortmund bought Sancho for just £7 million from Manchester City in 2017; he had earlier played for the Watford youth team before joining Man City’s famous academy for a compensation fee in 2014. He was limited to just 35 appearances for the Manchester club between 2015-2017, scoring 20 goals as he got the attention of German scouts from Dortmund before he jumped ship.
He has 38 goals and 46 assists from 108 appearances since joining the club. He has also represented England at different age level competitions from the U-16 to the U-19 and the senior team with a total of 47 appearances with 25 goals on the international stage.
Manchester United Gary Neville as tipped Jadon as a future Ballon d’Or winner and belives coming to Manchester United will help him achieve that.
Hopefully, Sancho will make the best decision for his football career and see an English player become more than just a Ballon d’Or winner on paper.
