Gift Orban, who is on the radar of Manchester United has bashed Arsenal by expressing that they “don’t want to win titles”.

Orban was supposedly watched in close proximity by scouts of Manchester United last weekend.

And the Nigerian certainly would have impressed the scouts as he bagged a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Cercle Brugge.

The former stabæk attacker has scored 20 goals in 20 appearances for Gent since he joined the side in January 2023 for £2 million.

That has seen Gift Orban linked with a move to the English Premier League with several notable clubs rumored to be interested in him.

However, the man who holds the record for the fastest hat-trick in a UEFA competition with 3 minutes and 25 seconds has now revealed that he is not looking at joining Arsenal.

He expressed that he has his gaze fixed on one of the other top clubs in the English top-flight.

In an interview with Sporza about his craziest football dream, Gift Orban said: “Playing in a big league.

“At a club where I feel comfortable AND where I play. The Premier League is my ultimate dream. Manchester United, Liverpool or Manchester City (laughs).

“I don’t really like Arsenal that much, it’s like they don’t want to win titles.

“They play and sell players, that’s it. I want to go somewhere where they win prizes.

“At Real Madrid they don’t have time for tiki-taka there, they just grab titles.”

The Gunners have bottled the Premier League title after being at the summit of the Premier League for most parts of the campaign.

The loss to Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening and handed Manchester City the 2022/23 English Premier League title.

Anyway, Gift Orban will be doing all he can, hoping his performances can give him the nod in the eyes of Manchester United over Englishman Harry Kane and fellow compatriot Victor Osimhen.

Both men have been linked severally with a possible move to Old Trafford but Gift Orban might be a good option who should come at a cheaper fee compared to the others.

However, the 20-year-old does not have any experience playing in any of Europe’s top 5 leagues.

In addition to his goals, the Nigerian who is yet to be capped by the Super Eagles of Nigeria hit the crossbar directly from kick-off earlier this campaign.

He also needed an amazing scissors kick against West Ham United in the UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-finals.
