City rivals Manchester United are the only side to have done that in the past, doing it on two occasions, first doing it from the 1998/99 campaign till the 2000/01 campaign.
The Red Devils also hit the same heights from the 2006/07 season till the 2008/09 Premier League season.
But Manchester City have now matched that amazing achievement winning the English Premier League title from the 2020/21 season till the 2022/23.
Pep Guardiola’s side won the trophy despite having not played their own fixture for the match day.
Premier League “bottlers” Arsenal lost their guard in the important moments of the season and it ultimately led to City winning the title following their loss to Nottingham Forest.

Following the full-time whistle, jubilant and electric scenes erupted into the air as players of the newly-crowned champions celebrated their triumphant season.
There is still the possibility of a treble in view for Manchester City but they certainly would have to bask and enjoy this present achievement as they take each game as they come.

If they manage to win the treble by also lifting the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League, they would be matching the feat of Manchester United in the 1998/99 season.
Pep Guardiola’s side looks odd-on favorite to land the two trophies but football is played on the pitch and definitely not on paper.
