Despite a year left on his contract, Tottenham Hotspur are obdurate that they will not sell Harry Kane to a local rival in the summer.

Manchester United have been strongly linked with the England International all season long due to their issues in attack.

The Red Devils are prepared to table a bid for Kane when the summer transfer window opens on the 1st of July 2023.

According to the Evening Standard, even though his deal is coming to an end in 2024, Harry Kane would not be sold to another English club in the summer.

Even the eventuality of his deal running out which would result in him leaving for free does not perturb the club.

Reports indicate that Manchester United would try and push for Kane’s signature early on in the transfer window but aren’t certain if Daniel Levy would be willing to let go of the Englishman.

The Shrewd businessman will prefer a move outside England for Harry Kane, to a team like Real Madrid, than joining a fellow competitor in the Premier League.

The former Leyton Orient player has been linked with a possible move to Los Blancos as a possible replacement for Karim Benzema.

Benzema is reportedly set to leave Real Madrid this summer and Fiorentino Perez would be needing a successor in his side’s attacking department.

But any club that intend to snap him away from Tottenham Hotspur would have to spend big to get his signature.

Harry Kane has his eyes fixated on the summit of the English Premier League all-time top scorers chart

One major fact that might hinder Harry Kane from leaving England is the desire to surpass Alan Shearer’s goal scoring record in the Premier League.

Harry Kane has scored 213 English Premier League goals and he is 47 goals shy of the Newcastle United great.

The Three Lions of England top scorer ended the season in empathic fashion as he scored a brace in Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-1 win over Leeds United.

Despite a torturous campaign for Spurs, Kane still amassed excellent numbers in attack.

He scored 30 goals and provided 3 assists in 38 Premier League games for the Lilywhites.

The 29-year-old is interested in a move to Manchester United after he became acquainted with the 13-time Premier League winners’ desire to bring him to Old Trafford.

Harry Kane isn’t interested in a move away from the English Premier League in spite of speculations linking him with a move to Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain.

The Red Devils feel Tottenham’s fee for the Englishman would be around £100 million and they are willing to part with that.

Due to factors like years left on his deal alongside the price set to be tabled for Kane, Manchester United feel Daniel Levy would ultimately accept their offer.
