Bayern Munich sensation Harry Kane recorded his 36th Bundesliga goal of the season but Bayern Munich lost 3-1 against Stuttgart at the MHPArena.

Kane scored from the spot for the Bavarians to nail home an equaliser after Serge Gnabry won the away side a penalty.

Meanwhile, Stuttgart has gone into the lead through Leonidas Stergiou who slotted home his first Bundesliga goal.

After Harry Kane’s equaliser, Jeong Woo-yeong restored the lead for Stuttgart in the second half before Silas sealed the win with a stoppage-time goal.

The Bavarians will now be heading into Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid on the back of a domestic league defeat. They drew 2-2 in the first leg and will face a tough task edging out the LaLiga giants at Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite what has been a disappointing campaign for the Bavarians, Harry Kane has been in the form of his life for the Bundesliga giants.

The former Tottenham captain and England all-time topscorer extended his goalscoring record for the Bundesliga outfit, scoring his 36th goal for the club.

Kane broke Uwe Seeler’s 60-year-old Bundesliga record before the March international break when he recorded his 35th Bundesliga goal, becoming the first Bundesliga debutant to score as much.

The prolific has struggled with a goal drought since reaching the legendary career milestone in the German topflight but has now returned to goalscoring ways to extend the record and set a new benchmark.

Overall, Kane has scored 44 goals with 11 assists in 44 appearances for Bayern Munich in his debut campaign.
