Girona FC have officially announced the signing of Spanish forward Abel Ruiz from Braga after successful negotiations.
The former Barcelona striker has signed a five-year contract with Girona, solidifying his commitment to the club.
The deal is reportedly valued at €8.5 million and as part of the agreement, Girona also included the loan of Gabri to Braga.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on his social media account that the deal was completed today, June 27 and the Spaniard’s contract will run until 2029.

“Five-year contract agreed with the striker as reported last week, and signed today.”
