Gerard Pique was spotted romancing his controversial girlfriend Clara Chia, as the couple toured Dubai to celebrate Clara’s birthday.
The 36-year-old whisked his new lover Clara Chia Marti to Abu Dhabi for a romantic holiday to celebrate her 24th birthday.
It is believed to be the first time the controversial couple celebrated Clara’s birthday together.
Recall that after Pique broke up with Shakira, the footballer decided to go public with his relationship with Clara Chia last year.
Gerard Pique reportedly celebrated her new babe’s birthday in a grand style by booking a luxury hotel in the United Arab Emirates.
The lovers were spotted having fun at a luxury beach resort when eagle-eyed fans sighted how much the Barcelona legendary footballer spoilt Clara with sweet gestures.
Clara seemed impressed with Pique’s romantic red roses gifted to her as she trotted through the crowds with them held firmly in her right hand.
According to a Spanish media report, Pique and his girlfriend will return to their home city this weekend before the ex-footballer jets to Miami to visit his two sons with Shakira after the Columbian songstress relocated with them to the States.
According to local media outlets, the 36-year-old father of two will spend ten days with his children as per the custody agreements.
Shakira Doesn’t Seem Worried Over Pique’s Latest Romance
The Hips don’t Lie crooner doesn’t seem worried about her ex whisking his new lover into town as she was spotted looking classy during a house hunt.
A real estate agent was recently spotted taking Shakira and her brother Tonino on the house hunt, with the whole company appearing in good moods.
Pictures of Shakira looking gorgeous while strolling the affluent streets of Florida were seen as she visited more than six mansions.
The Couple’s breakup
The former couple’s breakup didn’t entirely come as a surprise as Spanish tabloids already reported the pair were on the verge of breaking up following the claim that Gerard had cheated on Shakira.
Subsequently, Gerard went public with his controversial girlfriend Clara in August 2022, after he was seen kissing her at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia.
Clara is believed to have met the former Barcelona star after working at his company Kosmos, in the Public Relations office.
Following Pique’s infidelity, Shakira and the footballer star have been engaged in a bitter falling out since their high-profile split after 11 years of being together.
Shakira and Pique confirmed last year November that they had finally reached a child custody agreement after a lengthy negotiation of about 12-hour meeting with their lawyers.
In January, after Shakira released a diss song hurled at her ex, Pique, and his new romance, the Barcelona ace replied to her in a trivial warfare.
Pique fired back at his ex’s diss track which targets his new romance, by turning up to work in a Renault Twingo car.
The £8000 car was a deliberate choice, following Shakira’s lyrics in her newly released song that her ex had ‘traded a Ferrari for a Twingo,’ when he started his romantic relationship with new partner Clara Chia Marti.
However, in what appears as another blow for Pique, Shakira’s explosive diss track that the footballer incited will see her be crowned as Billboard’s first Woman of The Year at their inaugural Latin Women in Music gala.
The diss lyrics “Sessions” is currently the most-streamed Latin track in 24 hours ever in Spotify’s history.
The explosive song is also the most-viewed Latin track on YouTube in 24 hours with over 63 million views, as well as breaking 14 Guinness World Records.
The Columbian songwriter will be honored alongside other Latina icons at the upcoming two-hour special, also known as Mujeres Latinas in la Música.
The former couple signed the agreement at a court in Barcelona the following month.
Part of the agreement allows Pique to visit his sons and the ex-footballer will spend holiday time with his children after he returns from the Dubai trip.
Shakira’s decision to move to Miami, where she used to live with her family is understood to be a starting point of a new dawn for the hips don’t lie hitmaker.
