Besides football, Gareth Bale is an impassioned lover of Golf and is known to be following Golf games and their greatest stars.

He is also an active golfer. In the build-up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Gareth Bale raised eyebrows in Wales national team crew when he reportedly planned to wild away game breaks in Qatar playing Golf.

His plan was rejected by Wales national team coaching crew and he was forced to sheath his plan and focus on the tournament.

However, no one had thought the 2022 World Cup will be Gareth Bale’s last show on the football pitch. The former Real Madrid star and Tottenham legend hung his boots surprisingly.

Now, he will have more than enough time to go golfing. A few days after hanging the boots, Gareth Bale has rendezvoused a huge leverage in his golfing ambitions.

According to the Sun, an elite and top golf circuit are ready to welcome Gareth Bale “with open arms.” The reports add Gareth Bale will be allowed to pit tents and rub shoulders with famous sports celebrities and top golf stars like Gianfranco Zola, Robbie Fowler, Andrew Strauss, and Damon Hill, including Ryder Cup captains Colin Montgomerie, Paul McGinley, Ian Woosnam, and Thomas Bjorn.

Now, the former Wales international will not only muck around on the peripheries of the sport but will have a golden opportunity to bring his full golf talents and skill to bear.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale has reportedly been reluctant to go into golfing full-time, even after his retirement.

Reports have it that the organizers of Legends Tour – the European Tour’s over-50s circuit – who also run a highly popular Celebrity Series alongside their main tournaments, are hoping to drag Gareth Bale to the tournament.

The Celebrity Series comprises four events, with the top ten players qualifying for the final. The finalists compete for a share of £100,000 to donate to the charity of their choice. The final is always staged in Seychelles or Mauritius.

Some footballers have starred in the Celebrity Series such as Zola, Roberto Di Matteo, Gordon Strachan, Teddy Sheringham, and Lee Sharpe. Gareth Bale could be the next big star to make a name for himself if he accepts the challenge.

However, Bale should not expect it to be all rosy going into golf. Some footballers like Andriy Shevchecho and Julian Dicks reportedly hit the death knell and backed off after the first attempt.

The former Wales international, who is regarded as one of the most decorated players of Welsh origin said the decision to retire was the hardest he had to make.

Although his career, hit a drastic downturn after joining Real Madrid in 2013, nobody saw Gareth Bales’ retirement coming.

Meanwhile, he enjoyed an incredible career boost under the era of former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, but he nearly nosedived into oblivion under current Real Madrid manager Carlos Ancelotti.

Bale came to prominence after he joined Tottenham from Southampton in 2007.

After six years with Tottenham, Gareth Bale joined Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League trophies, three La Liga, Copa Del Rey, three Clubs World Cups, three Super Cups, and a Spanish Super Cup.

In the twilights of his career, Gareth Bale left last summer, joining Los Angeles FC before the World Cup.

He scored a dramatic last-gasp equalizer in extra time of the MLS Cup final. Los Angeles went on to win on penalties, with Bale landing his last trophy before bowing out of the stage.
