    The musician, who is 47 years old, claimed during an appearance on Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Real 92.3 that Eminem, turned down the offer.

    50 Cent claimed that Qatari officials were interested in hiring him and Eminem as a result of their participation in the acclaimed Super Bowl halftime show in Los Angeles last year, which also included Dr. Dre, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Anderson Paak.

    ‘Because of the Super Bowl, I got an inquiry about World Cup and they had a budget of $9 million,’ said 50 Cent, whose name is Curtis James Jackson III. He stated that he “would’ve taken” $1 million and that Eminem “would have” received the remaining $8 million.

    The Candy Shop crooner claimed that he unsuccessfully attempted to negotiate the appearance with Eminem’s team: ‘They’re like, “He’s not gonna do it.”‘

    50 Cent also said, ‘If you would do a one-off show, maybe you would do the biggest live sporting event in the world.’

    A lot of issues surrounded the soccer competition that was hosted in Qatar, including the nation’s human rights records, prejudice towards women and the LGBTQ community, and the deaths of migrant workers who built the stadiums where the finals were place.

    Lionel Messi, the captain of Argentina, was selected as the competition’s top player and awarded the Golden Ball. The Golden Glove and Young Player Awards, given to the best goalkeeper and best young player, respectively, went to teammates Emiliano Martnez and Enzo Fernández.

    With 172 goals scored, the event broke the previous record for most goals scored in a 32 team format.
