Brazilian footballers, Gabriel Jesus, Fred, Fabinho, Alisson Becker, Ederson, and Raphinha, flew from Brazil to the United Kingdom via the same private jet after the November international break.

The six players played important roles in ensuring that Brazil’s national team became the first country in South America to qualify for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Their contributions to the Brazilian team ensured that the national team did not record any defeat throughout the qualification series.

Their efforts helped Brazil to record 11 wins and 2 draws which pushed the country to the top of the South America group of ten countries with 35 points in 13 games.

In the earlier hours on Wednesday, November 17, the 6 Brazilian players were present when Brazil drew with Argentina at home. The draw did not affect Brazil’s position but was enough to earn Argentina a ticket to Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Both Brazil and Argentina made it to Qatar unbeaten. The last time Brazil lost a match was in the final of the Cope America on July 11, 2021, between the country and their arch-rivals Argentina.

Though Raphinha sustained an injury on his mouth during the World Cup qualification match, thanks to Nicolas Otamendi’s elbow, he might be fit enough for the Leeds United league game against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, November 21.
