The Copa America 2021 game were played indoors without fans due to covid, but now fans will be allowed to witness history when Neymar and Messi meets.
The Copa America final game will take place on Saturday, July 10, 2021 and the city has decided to allow about 7,800 people to watch the game in a stadium that could hold 78,00 fans at a time.
The committee in charge of healthcare regulation met and they have decided to give it a go. Everyone involved agreed after a protocol was set in place “of operation and accreditation that adopt measures to protect the health of those involved, using appropriate tools to prevent contagion and the propagation of Covid-19,” said a notice in the official gazette Friday.

- Test must be taken no longer than 48 hours before the event
- Must observe social distancing while inside
Since the start of the Copa America competition in Brazil, host of the event, they have faced high spike in covid cases and this led to lots of criticism. Covid killed more than 500,000 people in Brazil, with 29,00 0 deaths from Rio.
