Donny van de Beek took to his Instagram page to celebrate his birthday as he tunes 26th on 18th of April 2023.
In his post on his official account, van de Beek captioned the image he shared with; “26🎉🎂.”
Former teammate Jesse Lingard commented saying: “Happy Birthday Brother ❤️.”
Although there was no current Manchester United player in the comment section, we won’t assume there’s a rift in the dressing room.
Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano was in the comment section too wishing the player well, he wrote: “Happy bday Donny 💪🏻.”
Donny van de Beek who plays as midfielder for Manchester United was ruled out of the season with a knee injury in January.
He was injured in the first half of United’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Old Trafford on January 3, his leg buckled under a challenge from Cherries defender Marcos Senesi.
The level of the injury was confirmed by United manager Erik ten Hag the following week and the midfielder would be out for the rest of the season.
Erik ten Hag also confirmed that the Dutchman did not rapture his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
In mid-January, United’s coach confirmed in a conference that: “Yes, it is his knee. On the long-term, it is looking really good, he will be back for the start of pre-season. The rest of the season he is out.”

Donny van de Beek is a Dutch footballer who was born on 18 April 1997 and plays for Manchester United and the Netherlands national team.
