Unconfirmed reports have it that the club had long decided to part ways with Erik ten Hag with the official announcement left. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio said United officials have been on the lookout for who will replace Erik ten Hag before the 2023-24 season ended.

With no statement yet to be communicated by the club, Erik ten Hag’s future is still hanging in the balance. Nothing can be concluded.

The report adds United have entered the final stages of their discussion and are set to decide whether the 54-year-old stays or not.
