Danny Rose who has been out of favor at Tottenham Hotspur and with the England national team has increased his problems as he fell into the police net on Wednesday, December 23.

Danny Rose who has not played for Tottenham Hotspur since January 2020, reportedly crashed his car in Northampton as early as 4 am local time on Wednesday. Immediately after the accident happened, Northamptonshire Police got involved and the defender was taken into custody for the rest of the day.
He was then released on Wednesday night under investigation which could linger until the police confirm whether the England international drove under the influence of alcohol or not.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “We can confirm a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving on the A45 in Northampton shortly after 4 am today.
“The suspect is currently being held at a police station in the county and, as such, it would be inappropriate for Northamptonshire Police to comment further at this time.”
Danny Rose who was supposed to be in London, where Tottenham Hotspur is based, or in Staffordshire, where the club was preparing to play Stoke City in the Carabao Cup quarter-finals, decided to travel to Northampton to allegedly crash his car.
Hence, while his teammates were at the bet365 Stadium playing against their host, Stoke City, Rose was in police custody waiting to be released. The match ended 3-1 in favor of Tottenham Hotspur.
Note that whether Danny Rose was arrested or not, he wouldn’t have traveled with Jose Mourinho’s led team to play against Stoke. The defender who still has until June 2021 Before his contract with Tottenham expires, was not registered for this season’s Premier League and Europa League campaign.
Since he returned from Newcastle United where he spent the last part of last season on loan, Mourinho has already ruled out the possibility of playing the defender.
