The tricky trees escaped relegation at the dying embers of the season and they will want to do all that is required to have an impressive season next term after seeing the complete Nottingham Forest 2023-2024 Premier League fixtures.
Steve Cooper’s side didn’t commence the previous season in the best of fashion but they found their grip during the season and were able to also defeat some big teams.
Nottingham Forest made over 29 additions last term and many lashed them for their seemingly scattergun recruitment strategy.
But in the end, they say it’s the result that matters for football and for a side who were making their return to the top-flight after 23 years, remaining in the league was priority last season.
Evangelos Marinakis will also be looking at investing more money into the squad as they aim to improve their 2022/23 performance.
Many of the signings made last campaign can be said to be the reason why they are amongst the teams participating in the Premier League for the 2023-2024 season.
Taiwo Awoniyi who scored both goals in the 2-0 win against Arsenal which confirmed their safety in the top-flight was part of the signings made last season.
Aside from Awoniyi, other players also provided their own quota to the team, two of whom are Keylor Navas and Dean Henderson.
Dean Henderson kept in goal for Forest during the first part of the season but picked-up an injury and it led the club to go in search of a player to deputize in his stead.
Dean Henderson and Keylor Navas will leave Bournemouth and return to Man United and PSG
Both players will soon return to their parent clubs after the expiration of their loan spell at the club.
