Casemiro took a surprise switch to Manchester United after the Red Devils agreed on a deal worth €70.6m with Real Madrid. The 30-year-old is Erik Ten Hag’s fourth signing this summer and the second midfielder to join the team. He is among the top earners at Old Trafford, with a weekly wage of £300, 000.

The 29-year-old joined Liverpool on a long-term contract.

Guimaraes signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Lyon before his switch to Newcastle in January 2022. Guimaraes also signed a similar four-and-a-half-year contract with the Magpies in a deal worth €42.1m – the highest ever transfer fee paid by Newcastle. He came off the bench to make his debut in a 3-1 win over Everton on 8 February.

    Liverpool finalized Firminio’s deal on July 4, 2015. The Brazilian forward joined the Reds from Germa Bundesliga side Hoffenheim in a €41m deal. Firmino emerged as one of the top strikers in Liverpool. He made his League debut for the club in a 4-1 thrashing of Manchester City at Etihad Stadium. He has made a total of 233 appearances for the Reds, with 71 goals. He is the 10th most expensive Brazilian signing in Premier League history.
