The manager of Everton football club, Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he desires to remain the manager of the club even after the club has moved to a new stadium in 2024.
Everton are planning to abandon their long-time home, Goodison Park for a brand new stadium which will be known as Bramley-Moore Dock stadium in 2024.
Liverpool City council has approved the plan for the stadium which will cost about £500million to construct from the start to finish. Based on the plan for the proposed “world-class” stadium, the stadium will have the capacity to accommodate 52,888 people.
If the government of the United Kingdom approves the commencement of the construction which will take place at Liverpool’s World Heritage Site in Merseyside, the stadium will be ready before the commencement of the 2024-2025 season.
Even though the contract of Everton’s coach Carlo Ancelotti will officially expire on Jun 30, 2024, the Italian legendary coach wishes to remain with Everton during the 2024-2025 season when the club starts playing at the proposed stadium.
The coach who has won virtually everything in club football across Europe and has coached some of the biggest clubs including Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Chelsea, and Paris Saint Germain, said it will be a good achievement for him to manage Everton at the proposed Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
“It will be a good achievement for me, of course. I think to finish the contract in 2024 you did a good job and when you did a good job the contract will not be stopped in 2024, it will continue”, Carlo Ancelotti said.
“So for sure, for the time I spend here I feel good, so I would like to stay as long as possible.”

Carlo Ancelotti has helped Everton to remain one of the most consistent teams in the Premier League so far this season. The club is currently sitting on the 7th spot on the league table with 40 points in 24 games, 5 points below 4th placed West Ham United.
So far this season, Everton have recorded 12 victories in the Premier League, one of which came against Liverpool, while the club has recorded 4 draws and 8 defeats.
Everton’s next Premier League match is against Southampton at Goodison Park Stadium. The match is scheduled to take place on 1 March 2021, at 21:00. A win in the match could take Ancelotti and his boys as high as the 6th spot on the league table if Liverpool suffer defeat in the game against Sheffield United on February 28, at 20:15.
