Nigerian Grammy award-winning musician, Burna Boy stormed Old Trafford ahead of the Manchester United vs Newcastle United Premier League game on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
When he got to the stadium, he went to the Lounge bar and boxes side of the stadium where he was presented with Manchester United home and away jerseys. The name of the musician was embroidered on the back of the shirts with shirt number 23.
In a video Burna Boy shared on his Instagram page, the musician could be seen pulling off his Vuitton designer shirt and putting on Manchester United‘s home jersey.
Afterward, he, his mother, Bose Ogulu, who is also his manager, and some of his crew members were seen on the stands celebrating one of the goals Manchester United scored against Newcastle United.
In the caption of his Instagram post, Burna Boy noted that he “Couldn’t come to Manchester without supporting” Paul Pogba who he described as his brother.
Just like many other Manchester United players during the Premier League game, Paul Pogba played a fantastic game. He provided two assists in the United’s 4-1 victory over Newcastle United.
He took second behind the club’s returnee Cristiano Ronaldo when the club’s fans voted for the game’s man of the match.
After the 4-1 victory, Paul Pogba attended the Parklife festival in Manchester to support Burna Boy.
During Burna Boy’s performance, the Grammy award-winning musician called out the Manchester United midfielder on stage as he performed “Focus”.

This is not the first time Burna Boy and Pogba have flaunted their bromance. When the musician celebrated his 30th birthday in Miami in July, Pogba was present at the birthday party. Afterward, the musician and the football star were seen at a nightclub in Miami having fun.
Aside from that, they often post about themselves on their verified Instagram pages to show that they are official with their brotherhood.
