The add-ons for Bruno Guimares’ contract will be €8 million, not €2 million, as previously stated – contract 2026 confirmed. After all paperwork is completed between teams tonight, an official announcement will be made.

Bruno has already signed his contract, which was completed this afternoon. Newcastle managed to get Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood across the line, but then there was a gap.

There were a few setbacks along the road, to be sure. However, it seems that Newcastle has finally completed the Guimaraes transfer.

According to Romano, Newcastle will pay 40 million euros (£33.2 million) plus 2 million euros (£1.7 million) in add-ons.
