Bruno Guimaraes has agreed a new long-term contract with Newcastle United, according to reports.
Guimaraes has not yet signed the deal, but it includes a release clause within the region of £100 million.
This allows the Magpies to sell for a significant amount when clubs come calling for his services.
Bruno Guimaraes joined Newcastle United on January 30, 2022, from Olympique Lyon for a fee of €42.1 million.

His current contract with Newcastle United runs until June 2026, but following his remarkable impact at St James’ Park, he wanted to be given a new bumper package.
This potential contractual agreement includes a pay rise, and it runs until June 30, 2028.
Guimaraes has made 63 appearances for Newcastle United, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists.
He was instrumental to Eddie Howe’s side qualifying for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 20 years.
The Tyneside-based club have performed below expectations this season, and Bruno Guimaraes has also been below par.
Eddie Howe would be hopeful that Guimaraes’ contract extension will help him return to his best, as it would remove any cloud of doubt regarding his future.

Meanwhile, Bruno Guimaraes has made 6 appearances for Newcastle United this term, scoring no goal and providing no assist.
Guimaraes began his career at Brazilian club Audax, before joining Athletico Paranaense initially on loan on May 11, 2017, and then permanently on March 1, 2023.

Although manager Eddie Howe has also come to his defense, saying: “Sometimes stats can be a little bit misleading.
“Look at his last performance against Milan (0-0 draw on Tuesday) and there was so much good from him.
“He linked play really well for us. But as a team we didn’t really click in the final third. That was pretty obvious.”
Alexander Isak joined Newcastle United from Real Sociedad on August 26, 2022, for a fee of €70 million.
