Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on a deal to sign Benfica defender, Alejandro Grimaldo.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Benfica are just few steps away from signing the highly-rated left-back with rumors linking the Spaniard to a return to Barcelona in the summer.
Grimaldo, 27, has reportedly completed a medical with Bayer Leverkusen and has agreed personal terms with the club.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed a four-year contract has already been agreed. The Spaniard will join the Bundesliga club next month when his contract at Benfica comes to an end.
