Depay is now a Barcelona player and he will play alongside Lionel Messi when the new La Liga season starts.
“I want to thank the president, the whole board of Barcelona, the coach, and my own team for making my dream a reality. I want to thank God more than anything else for guiding me throughout my life!
I have no words to describe how I feel right now but I’m so grateful.” Depay wrote on his Instagram page.
Depay, 27, is from Netherland and he pays No 10 position or forward (Number 9).

Memphis Depay earns £87,000 per week, and £4,524,000 per year while playing for Olympique Lyonnais. His new contract with Barcelona was not made public but he is making more than £87,000 per week. But also, he took a pay cut to play for Barcelona due to covid. Memphis Depay’s current net worth before signing with Barcelona is £27,086,800.
“It’s literally a dream come true for me to join the biggest club in the world with the greatest fans,” Memphis Depay said during an interview.
