Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reportedly brought the players’ and staff families to London’s Conley training ground to create a bond within the squad. He has also set up a training ground for the children to participate in.

This is not the first time he has done so. In 2020, during the COVID-19 period, Arsenal went to training in Dubai, and the manager encouraged his players to bring their families.

The board seems to be backing everything that is done by the manager as he continues to make the team compete for silverware this season.

While he was at Manchester City, the club employed the same tactics of bringing in families of players, and that really helped the team focus on the pitch and deliver results.

It looks like Mikel is copying the approach of his former employees, Manchester City, where he worked as an assistant coach before he was appointed Arsenal’s coach. Arteta wants to work on the psychological mindset of his players as the season continues.

Mikel also wants to use that to motivate the players to give all they have to make sure they succeed this season.

Arsenal’s performance in the preseason was exceptional, and they kept the consistency going after defeating Crystal Palace by 2 goals to nil in the Premier League. Although it was a convincing performance, the coach expects more from his players.

The manager has been implementing a strict approach to players at the London Conley training ground since he featured in Amazon’s “all or nothing.” He sent home four players for performing poorly during training.

Arsenal sporting director Edu has backed the squad this season with the signing of marquee players and sold some deadwood of the team.

Mikel has no other option than to win matches. If he wants to continue as the manager of the team, he must win something tangible this season.

Arteta still wants to add more players to the team before the end of the transfer window and also ready to give William Saliba a new deal.

Saliba has spent 3 seasons on loan and is ready to fight for his place at the club. Arsenal has already met his agent and a deal will be finalized soon.

They have shown interest in signing Youri Tielemans from Leicester for 25 million pounds. The player has not made his decision known to the Foxes, who are currently battling it out with a financial crisis.

Arsenal will play against Leicester on Saturday, and a win will move Arsenal to the top of the league.

Leicester City played a 2-2 draw with Brentford in the last match after a 2-0 lead in the first half of the match. Hence, Arsenal are favorites to beat Leicester in the match with more than 2 goals.

Arsenal will be without Tomiyasu, Smith Rowe, and Fabio Vieria as those players have been ruled out due to fitness issues.
