Arsenal will be welcoming Carabao Cup winners, Manchester City to the Emirates Stadium in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The Gunners made it to the last eight after eliminating Premier League champions, Liverpool on penalties.
Manchester City, on the other hand, recorded a clean sheet against Burnley after being hammered 5-2 by Leicester on their turf last weekend. They cruised past Burnley at Turf Moor 3-0 to book a date with the Gunners.
This will now bring about another meeting between Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta and his former boss, Pepe Guardiola again. In their two meetings so far, they have shared one win each – Guardiola won the reverse Premier League fixture at the Etihad 3-0 while Arteta had the last smile against his boss during last year’s FA Cup semi-finals, winning 2-0.
Another mouthwatering clash will be between Manchester United and in-form Everton. The Red Devils were too much to handle for Brighton, scaling through the last round with 3-0 victory at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday. The victory was a stark difference to the close encounter witnessed on Saturday that saw the Red Devils winning with a last-minute penalty.
Everton has also continued their flying start of the season under Carlo Ancelotti with another convincing 4-1 win over West Ham in the last 16 ties. Dominic Calvert-Lewin bagged a hat trrick again in the clash, making it eight goals in five matches so far.
This is expected to be a tricky affair as United will be travelling to Goodison Park.
