To other players who are fit to play football, the coronavirus break could mean a bad spell, however, to players like Lucas Torreira who is certain to miss almost all remaining games for this season, this break might be a potential breakthrough or blessing, after all, he was not going to be fit for football anytime soon. Arsenal confirmed after their match against Portsmouth on March 2 that the 24-year-old midfielder will be out for about 10 weeks after he suffered an ankle injury in the 16th minutes of the game.

Before that match, Lucas Torreira has had difficulty in making the starting eleven especially since Mikel Arteta became the manager. He, however, made his first start for the club after about four games but he was stretched out in the 16th minutes of the game due to an unfortunate ankle injury. The season has not been a good one for the Uruguayan midfielder, so a break that will last for the entire season would not mean much for him.

Reasonably, as many other players are having fun during this break, the 24-year-old midfielder has shared a picture of him fast recovering from the injury.

Lucas Torreira signed for Arsenal in 2018 from Sampdoria with a fee of about £28.65 million. From 2018 to the present time he has appeared in over 53 games for the gunners and has scored about three goals.

Lucas Torreira Relationship Life

There is no shred of pieces of evidence that the 24-year-old is in any relationship presently or he has a child. However, there is speculation that Torreira is having an affair with a lady named Vittoria Repetto. But, no further evidence to prove that things are serious between the duo.

Torreira Weekly Wages

It is worthy to note that Arsenal is an economically based club. Of all the top clubs in England, Arsenal pays lower than the rest. Lucas Torreira earns about £75,000 weekly in the club.
