Al-Nassr CEO Guido Fienga has confirmed the club’s per as the future of the talismanic forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Saudi Pro League side in a groundbreaking transfer in 2022. He will enter the last lap of his contract with the club next season.

Speculations have been rife on the Portuguese’s possible next stop after his spell with Al-Nassr. Some reports claim the Man United legend may leave the club after the just-concluded campaign.

Reacting to Ronaldo’s exit rumors, Al-Nassr chief administrator Guido Fienga confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo will continue with the club next season.

Speaking after Al-Nassr’s King’s Cup final loss to Al-Hilal, Fienga quashed Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit rumors, affirming the club’s decision to continue with the player next season.

Ronaldo has been a standout performer for Al-Nassr since he joined the club midway through the 2022-23 football season.

He scored 14 league goals in his first and has doubled the tally in his second season with a record-setting 35-goal tally in the just-concluded campaign.

Despite his remarkable performances for the club, Al-Nassr have yet to win a domestic trophy under the 39-year-old’s leadership.

He came close to nicking his first domestic silverware in the 2024 King’s Cup final on Thursday, May 31 but was denied by arch-domestic Al-Hilal who won on penalties to clinch the title.

Ronaldo will hope to end his barren domestic run with the Knights of Najd next season.
