The club’s youth team is participating in a youth tournament in Spain. Since the tournament started, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has scored two goals in two matches. Each time he scored, he celebrated like his father.

Over the years, Cristiano Ronaldo is known for his trademark celebration known as ‘siu’. The 37-year-old Portuguese football icon often carryout the celebration whenever he scores.

Ronaldo starts the ‘siu’ celebration by first running to the corner of the pitch after scoring, jumping with his two hands wide open, and then landing after striking his hands in the air on his way down.

After landing, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner would bend a little backward before screaming ‘siu’ to the delight of the spectators at the stadium and even viewers at home.

Ronaldo Junior started training with the Manchester United football academy in September 2021 but it was not until February 2022 that he signed his first contract with the club’s academy.

When Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at Manchester United last summer, the 37-year-old Portuguese star revealed that Cristiano Jr’s dream is to play with him in the same team.

“My son says to me ‘Dad, hang in there for a few more years, I want to play with you’,” Cristiano Ronaldo said after his son joined Manchester United’s youth academy.

Cristiano Jr’s dream of playing with his father is the dream of many fans of the family. But Cristiano Jr is just 11-year-old and his father is already 37-year-old which means that it is almost impossible for such a dream to come to pass.

Ronaldo senior is signed to Manchester United until 2023, and his son is signed to the club’s youth academy but it might take over five years before Cristiano Jr can gain promotion to the club’s senior team. By then, Ronaldo will be over 42-year-old.

While speaking about the potential of Cristiano Ronaldo Jr in 2020, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner said: “We’ll see if my son will become a great footballer. He has potential. He is fast and dribbles well, but that is not enough.

“I always tell him that it takes work and dedication to have success. I won’t pressure him to become a footballer, but if you ask me if I want him to, yes I would like it.”
