Paris Saint Germain forward, Lionel Messi will be wearing GOAT on his sleeve at the French Ligue 1 side which might leave Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo unhappy.

For over a decade, there have been endless debates about who is the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Many believe that Messi is the greatest while others believe Ronaldo is the greatest.

The debate and the revelry between Ronaldo and Messi especially on social media and the mainstream media have forced the two players to strive for countless honors and records.

Apart from the FIFA World Cup, the two players have won all the major titles for both clubs and countries and they look unstoppable even though age is steadily catching up on them.

Amid the argument about who is the greatest footballer of all time, PSG entered into a deal with a United States-based lifestyle and apparel company named GOAT.

The deal will see Lionel Messi and other members of the PSG squad wear GOAT on the sleeves of their jerseys which could be mistaken for a tribute to Messi who has won a record seven Ballon d’Or in his illustrious football career.

Hence, the 34-year-old Argentina international will be one of the eleven GOATs whenever PSG step to the pitch to take on any team.

A statement from PSG read: “We are delighted to welcome GOAT into the Paris Saint-Germain family with this partnership that will see them join the exclusive roster of club partners present on our iconic jerseys.

“GOAT is a perfect fit for the club and further supports our position as a leading global sports and lifestyle icon for fans all over the world. Together we will develop exciting and creative experiences to connect with supporters everywhere.”
