Roma striker, Tammy Abraham took a lady out on a date at the famous Burj Khalifa in Dubai recently and the English football star decided to share the memory with his 2.4 million Instagram followers.
In the picture he shared on Instagram after the private date, Tammy Abraham could be seen chilling on a chair. The beautiful scenery of Dubai could be seen in the background.
An aspect of the picture that interested people was the part where a lady’s hand was seen clicking her glass cup with that of Tammy Abraham. Unfortunately for the followers of the footballer, the face of the lady could not be seen.
But from all indications, the lady’s hand in the picture could be that of Leah Monroe, Tammy Abraham’s long-time girlfriend.
The Roma and the Three Lions of England striker has been dating Leah Monroe years before he established himself at Chelsea in the 2019-2020 season.
They always flaunt themselves on social media especially Instagram which means that their relationship is still waxing stronger even though Abraham has left Chelsea for Roma last summer.
After Abraham posted the picture of himself having a drink at Burj Khalifa in Dubai with a mystery female hand, Futballnews ran a check on Monroe’s Instagram page.
The result of the check showed that the most recent post Monroe shared was of herself and Tammy Abraham. In the series of pictures that Monroe shared on January 1, 2022, the English model could be seen sitting on Abraham’s lap and posing next to the footballer.
Also, a check on Abraham’s Instagram page showed that the footballer still has a couple of pictures of himself and Monroe on his page which means that their relationship is still very much intact. It also means that the hand in Abraham’s picture is definitely that of Monroe.
Recall that before Tammy Abraham left Chelsea for Roma on August 17, 2021, for a transfer fee worth €40 million, Monroe was one of the people who were very critical of coach Thomas Tuchel for not playing Abraham regularly when he was at Chelsea.
She took her displeasure against the coach to the next level by criticizing the coach on Instagram when the coach failed to name Abraham in the squad that played against Leicester City in the FA Cup final.
“How on earth do you decide to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for the final?!” Monroe wrote in an Instagram post which has been deleted.
“The same person who scored the goals to actually qualify for the competition?
“It’s not making any sense to me whatsoever. Not even the bench?! This has to be a joke.”
Since Abraham left Chelsea for Roma, the English striker has rediscovered his goalscoring form. So far in the 2021-2022 season, the England international has scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 games in all competitions for Roma. His contract with the Italian Serie A club will expire on June 30, 2026.
