France International, Moussa Dembele has made his debut for Atletico Madrid in an unfortunate 2-0 loss against Levante at Wanda Metropolitan Stadium.
The 24-year-old forward was bought from Olympique Lyon by the Spanish based side on loan- worth 1.5 million euros with an option to buy him permanently, to fill the void of the out of contract striker, Diego Costa.

But the club’s manager Diego Costa said Moussa Dembele need to take his time to fit it into the squad plan, to spice up the side attacking department.
However, on the reflection of club defeat-as their 22 matches unbeaten run comes to hold- the side has been inconsistent and the first home defeat against Levante since December 2019.
Club manager, Diego Simeone said the club has no excuse but to move and look for a solution to come back to winning ways in the Spanish La Liga. They are three points ahead of Barcelona and it will be handwriting on the one for the side.

“I’m not looking for excuses. Coaches have to find solutions. In the second half, we did it and we have to be the ones who help the players who are out there.” he said
“Championships are always the same, everyone has moments of difficulties. Those who are strong in the bad moments are the one who achieve their goals.” he added
“When you look for a goal it is important to get there, it is wonderful.
“There are obstacles. It is logical to find obstacles and then when you achieve the goal you enjoy it much more.”
Atletico will be playing the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 with Chelsea next Tuesday.
